New startup “Cult” publishes chemtrails

Since the beginning of human history, humans have tried to control their environment. What started with building shelters and fences has evolved into controlling the weather. Make Sunsets, a start-up company headquartered in Mexico, claims to have launched two weather balloons containing sulfur particles in April 2022 in the Mexican state of Baja California1 on the Baja California peninsula bordering the United States

The term is geoengineering, which describes the manipulation of weather by either removing carbon dioxide to prevent it from trapping heat in the lower atmosphere or reflecting sunlight back into space, also called solar geoengineering. Advances in technology and a growing understanding of meteorological processes have prompted scientists to discover ways to control the weather.

According to Live Science, 2 projects are currently underway to increase precipitation, remove carbon dioxide and prevent extreme weather events. While extreme weather conditions vary from country to country, manipulating the weather can have unknown consequences that could bring about the end of life as we know it on our planet.

A 2012 article3 published in Nature concludes that manipulating the environment through geoengineering is a poor choice from an environmental ethics perspective. While it is a widely held belief that humans should minimize their impact on the planet, other potentially much lower risk options should be pursued.
