BUCHAREST (Reuters) – Divisive internet personality Andrew Tate will remain in police custody for the full 30 days he was remanded in custody along with his brother and two other suspects pending a criminal investigation into human trafficking, a ruled Romanian late Tuesday dish.
Tate, his brother Tristan and two Romanian female suspects were arrested by Romanian organized crime prosecutors on December 29 on charges of forming an organized crime group to sexually exploit six women.
They have denied the wrongdoing through a lawyer and challenged the arrest warrant. On Tuesday, the Bucharest Court of Appeal said it had dismissed the challenge.
