Musk recommends voting Republican in the US midterm elections

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Twitter owner Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, on Monday recommended voters select Republican candidates for the US Congress in Tuesday’s midterm elections.

“To independent-minded voters, shared power curbs the worst excesses of either party, so I recommend voting for a Republican Congress as the presidency is Democratic,” Musk said on Twitter.
